The equipment of the E-Teru Universal reveals: The use on serious trails is not up for debate with this bike.
At steep sections, the somewhat weak Yamaha motor requires a lot of initiative from the biker. The Yamaha PW-ST gives off a natural riding feeling. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the E-Teru Universal are no problem.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Ghost E-Teru Universal in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (3000) .

On rough terrain, the E-Teru Universal, with its only average fork, lacks some control. In descending situations, the Shimano brakes require a lot of hand strength or, optionally, courage from the rider. With two pistons and small 18 brake rotors, they only brake poorly. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. If the Meta's chainstay length is less than 445, the short chainstay and, if the Reach's Relative Rating is less than 3, the relatively short reach characterise the Ghost as a playful, agile bike. This makes it easy to navigate through winding trails. The small 27.5 inch wheels give the bike a lively character. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Ghost E-Teru Universal

With a weak brake system and an average motor, the E-Teru Universal definitely has weaknesses. Nevertheless, it remains a solid all-rounder with a wide range of abilities , thanks to a good geometry and a good range. With 5 years of warranty, nothing stands in the way of a long-term relationship.
