Untypical for Giant: In the STANCE E+PRO 1, the Taiwanese forgo the use of their proven Maestro rear end.
The well-rounded motor control and the dynamic power output characterise the character of the Giant motor. Thanks to the very good range, you should no longer have any range problems even on very long tours.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Giant STANCE E+PRO 1 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (5000) .

On rough terrain, the STANCE E+PRO 1 with its middle ground Rock Shox chassis lacks bit of control. At the brakes, Giant middle class four pistons brakes by Tektro are used. Shifting and components still leave room for improvement. Other providers dig deeper into their pockets for these assemblies. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of Giant doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here. Also, weight is an important factor when it comes to EMTB. The STANCE E+PRO 1 isn't exactly shining in this regard. There are lighter Trailbikes on the market.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Giant STANCE E+PRO 1

With a poor chassis and a simple groupset, the STANCE E+PRO 1 definitely has weaknesses. Nevertheless, it remains a solid all-rounder with a wide range of abilities , thanks to a very strong range and a good motor. The warranty of 25 years proves that Giant has a lot of trust in its products.
