Giant TALON E+ 1 [29″/CORE/500WH] Review

At steep sections, the somewhat weak Giant motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The Giant SyncDrive Core gives off a natural riding feeling. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the TALON E+ 1 , because of its low range.

In rough terrain, the TALON E+ 1 lacks a bit of control with its only average fork. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. When it comes to the geometry, Giant does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. With its 21,91 kg, the TALON E+ 1 is one of the lighter E-bikes. The competition is often significantly heavier.
