The suspension elements are electronically and fully automatically blocked depending on the riding situation. At the brakes, Giant instals upper class brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from SRAM. Those who live for premium quality will love the transmission and parts of this EMTB. Here Giant cranks up the bling-bling factor to 11. When it comes to the geometry, Giant does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Due to the short chainstays , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. Oh boy, with the geometry you have to be ready to make compromises from our perspective. The most important measurements and angles fall slightly out of the grid of good bikes. On the scale, the TRANCE X ADVANCED E+ ELITE 1 makes a good figure with 20 kg. Most All Mountains are significantly heavier.
