The TRANCE X ADVANCED E+ ELITE 1 is the spearhead in Giant's E-MTB development. The concept with a small integrated battery, the option of a range extender and full engine power is not entirely new, but nevertheless implemented absolutely consistently in the TRANCE X ADVANCED E+ ELITE 1. This is how Giant wants to reconcile power, range and weight.
The natural motor control and the dynamic power output characterise the character of the Giant motor. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly. The integrated battery gives developers constructive freedom when designing the frame. However, to charge it, the bike always has to be brought near an outlet.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Giant TRANCE X ADVANCED E+ ELITE 1 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (10000) .

The chassis, besides the motor and battery, is one of the most expensive components of an EMTB. With the golden shine Fox suspension elements, Giant doesn't skimp in this area. Thanks to an outstanding function, the entire bike lies comfortably on the track when it goes downhill. Setup-Nerds can squeeze out the maximum performance from the chassis thanks to the many setting options. At the chassis, Giant reaches into the trick box and brings out something to make tech nerds' eyes light up. The suspension elements are electronically and fully automatically blocked depending on the riding situation. At the brakes, Giant instals upper class brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from SRAM. Those who live for premium quality will love the transmission and parts of this EMTB. Here Giant cranks up the bling-bling factor to 11. When it comes to the geometry, Giant does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Due to the short chainstays , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. Oh boy, with the geometry you have to be ready to make compromises from our perspective. The most important measurements and angles fall slightly out of the grid of good bikes. On the scale, the TRANCE X ADVANCED E+ ELITE 1 makes a good figure with 20 kg. Most All Mountains are significantly heavier.
