Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX Smart System shows. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Bosch motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a very natural feeling while riding with a dynamic power delivery. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

In comparison, it's noticeable that the direct competition mounts better chassises, thus offering significantly more control. The mid-range brakes from Shimano do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. When it comes to the geometry, Haibike does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Even when it gets really steep, the long chainstays will stick the front wheel to the ground. The steep seat angle puts the rider far forward in the bike. This puts pressure on the front, which additionally increases the climbing abilities in technical uphills.
