Hercules Nos FS 2.1 Review

Shimano has become the biggest component manufacturer for bicycles thanks to its gear, pedal and brake components. It's clear that the Japanese want to shape the E-Bike trend from this dominant market position. The Shimano motor climbs steep ramps effortlessly. The natural riding feeling combines the Shimano EP8 with a harmonious power delivery. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the Nos FS 2.1 with only an average range.

Rough descents take away some of the fear thanks to the average chassis. With its four pistons and larger brake rotors the Shimano braking system decelerates excellently. This allows you to maintain control over your own pace even in the steepest descents. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Hercules uses average parts. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar.
