Hoheacht MOLA ROKO Review

Shimano has become the biggest component manufacturer for bicycles thanks to its gear, pedal and brake components. It's clear that the Japanese want to shape the E-Bike trend from this dominant market position. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Shimano motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a natural feeling while riding with a harmonious power delivery. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the MOLA ROKO with only an average range.

As the hits get faster and harder the average chassis limits the downhill fun. The mid-range brakes from Hayes do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. The trend is going towards increasingly longer main frames. With a very high Reach Value, Hoheacht meets this trend. However, especially inexperienced riders must be aware that it takes a brave body effort to maneuver the MOLA ROKO.
