Hoheacht SENTO MONTO Review

Shimano motors remain at the top of the engine popularity alongside Bosch motors. No wonder, as evidenced by EP8. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Shimano motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a natural feeling while riding with a gentle power delivery. Whoever enjoys longer tours will be pleased with the good range.

Rough descents take the good Rock Shox fork brand its course, though not with the calmness of a top-end fork. Especially for heavy riders, the Hoheacht brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. On winding trails, the playful handling comes to the fore, as the bike masters even the fastest direction changes with the short wheelbase and the relatively short reach playfully. Small wheels are becoming rare, but with the SENTO MONTO the 27.5 wheels pay off with a playful riding experience. High Reach values are in full trend. So, the SENTO MONTO has an on-trend geometry. However, the bike requires a courageous body effort to hit the lines in the singletrail. For less experienced riders, this is often unfamiliar.
