Typical Husqvarna: Even the Light Cross 6 with rigid rear does not go without underbody protection for the engine.
As a component giant, Shimano is mostly known for its dominant position in bicycle gears. But with the E8000, the Japanese are clearly showing that they can look beyond their own plate too. At steep sections, the somewhat weak Shimano motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The Shimano E8000 gives off a digital riding feeling. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Husqvarna Light Cross 6 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (4000) .

Good damping qualities are shown through the SR Suntour mid-range fork. The mid-range brakes from Magura do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the two pistons setup with small 180 brake rotors is only average. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. The trend is going towards increasingly longer main frames. With a very high Reach Value, Husqvarna meets this trend. However, especially inexperienced riders must be aware that it takes a brave body effort to maneuver the Light Cross 6.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Husqvarna Light Cross 6

With a mediocre motor and an average fork, the Light Cross 6 definitely has weaknesses. Nevertheless, it remains a solid all-rounder with a wide range of abilities.
