The Bosch motor takes away the fear of even the steepest ramps. The combination of a very natural riding feeling and a dynamic power delivery characterises the Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System. Solid endurance qualities are shown by the chassis of medium quality. Especially for heavy riders, the KTM brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of KTM doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here.
