The hole in the top tube of the MACINA KAPOHO MASTER is not only a design highlight, but can also be used as a storage compartment for a spare tube. However, it is even better suited as a handle for carrying passages on the trail or the way through the stairwell after a long bike tour.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX Smart System shows. Also steep uphills the Bosch motor easily climbs up well. The Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System provides a very natural riding experience with a progressive power delivery. The well-tuned riding modes cater to bikers of all preferences. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the KTM MACINA KAPOHO MASTER in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (7000) .

Even nasty descents get smoothened by the good Fox chassis. Thanks to the solid power, the Shimano brakes can be counted on in the upper class segment. With four pistons , KTM won't take any chances in that area. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. Overall, the geometry does not seem to be up to date anymore. The competition is significantly more modern in this regard. Also, weight is an important factor when it comes to EMTB. The MACINA KAPOHO MASTER isn't exactly shining in this regard. There are lighter All Mountains on the market.

Conclusion

Expirience with the KTM MACINA KAPOHO MASTER

The MACINA KAPOHO MASTER isnt`t a specialist on the trail. Despite a middle ground groupset, it remains thanks to a top-notch motor, a very good range and a good chassis a solid all-rounder with a wide range of use.
