The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. Steep ramps are no problem for the Bosch motor. Additionally, the Bosch Performance Line CX stands out with a very natural riding feeling and a progressive power delivery. This great combination mixed with lots of power, is something only a few other motors at Bosch's level can achieve. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

The good SR Suntour fork dampens small and medium bumps confidently when mountain biking. The mid-range brakes from Shimano do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup with small 180 brake rotors is only average. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. If the Meta's chainstay length is less than 445 short wheelbase and a moderate reach value make the handling pleasantly playful. Oh boy, with the geometry you have to be ready to make compromises from our perspective. The most important measurements and angles fall slightly out of the grid of good bikes.
