The battery lying flat above the motor is certainly something special. The Overvolt GLP 2 Team has a particularly low center of gravity thanks to this design, which should benefit the riding fun in the single trail.
The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Bosch motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a very natural feeling while riding with a progressive power delivery. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the Overvolt GLP 2 Team , because of its low range.

If the trail gets rougher however, the comparatively weak chassis can quickly limit the downhill fun. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the brakes, Lapierre instals upper class brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from SRAM. The narrow #reifen_inch_breite Schwalbe tires do not do this Enduros range of use any justice. In our opinion, Lapierre has saved weight in the wrong place here. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Lapierre uses average parts. When it comes to the geometry, Lapierre does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward. Hell yeah, the geometry is killer! Here the remarkable know-how of the Lapierre developers is videly visible.

The Overvolt GLP 2 Team isnt`t a specialist on the trail. Despite a simple chassis and a weak range, it remains thanks to a fantastic geometry, a good motor and a good brake system a solid all-rounder with a wide range of use.
