LIV Embolden E+ 1 Review

The dynamic power delivery is a clear character of the SyncDrive Sport. With 70 Nm torque, the support on the hill is rather moderate. The natural motor control of the SyncDrive Sport shapes the riding feel of the Embolden E+ 1. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the Embolden E+ 1 are no problem.

On rough terrain, the Embolden E+ 1 with its mediocre Rock Shox chassis lacks bit of control. At the brakes, LIV middle class four pistons brakes by Tektro are used. The components and the shifting seem less important for LIV. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of LIV doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here.
