LIV Tempt E+ Sport Review

The Giant SyncDrive Sport is not one of the powerhouses on the market. The somewhat low torque engine could use a bit more support, especially on steep climbs. The motor control of Giant conveys a natural riding experience. The progressive power delivery is an ace up the sleeve of the SyncDrive Sport. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

On rough terrain, the Tempt E+ Sport, with its only average fork, lacks some control. For an EMTB , the Kenda tires with a width of #reifen_inch_breite inches are relatively narrow. In our opinion, LIV could have put on wider tires. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, LIV uses average parts. If the Meta's chainstay length is less than 445, the short chainstay and, if the Reach's Relative Rating is less than 3, the relatively short reach characterise the LIV as a playful, agile bike. This makes it easy to navigate through winding trails. The small 27.5 inch wheels give the bike a lively character. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. With its 22,3 kg, the Tempt E+ Sport is one of the lighter E-bikes. The competition is often significantly heavier.
