M1 AM.1050.TQ (SPITZING) Review

Even nasty steep sections are effortlessly climbed by the motor. The TQ HPR 120S conveys a riding feeling. Fans of XXL tours will be happy with the AM.1050.TQ (SPITZING) due to ist excellent range.

The good Fox chassis absorbs even larger roots with the calmness of a Buddhist monk. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the brakes, M1 instals upper class brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from Magura. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of M1 doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here.
