Although the Bavarians from bike_marke mainly operate in the premium sector, they boast an extensive lineup. The AM.4.SX appeals to E-bikers who are looking for a lightweight rig to shred the descents with ample 16 mm.
The SX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. The Swabians from Bosch are sending their first light engine into the race with the SX. With 55 Nm torque, this unit places exactly in the middle between Fazua's Ride 6 and TQ's HPR 5. However, it delivers up to 6 watts of support, similar performance figures to the popular Bosch CX. The starting behavior remains dynamic. The complete motor control is very $natural. In terms of installation space and sound, the small Bosch can't quite keep up with its competitors from the Light segment. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the M1 AM.400.SX in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (8000) .

The good Fox chassis absorbs even larger roots with the calmness of a Buddhist monk. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Bad brakes reduce the riding pleasure. Fortunately, this is not the case with the AM.4.SX. With their four pistons and large brake rotors the Magura brake brakes good. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, M1 uses average parts. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of M1 doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here.

Conclusion

Expirience with the M1 AM.400.SX

Friends of gravity should jot down the AM.4.SX. With a very good handling, a good chassis and a good brake system, the M1 is a real trail rocket even for really gnarly terrain.
