M1 EN.1050.TQ.P/S (SPITZING) Review

The frame is simply top notch, keeping you in control even on rougher trails full of fast hard hits. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Thanks to the solid power, the Magura brakes can be counted on in the upper class segment. With four pistons and big brake rotors, M1 won't take any chances in that area. The shifting and the rest of the components are always in the shadow of the engine when it comes to electric mountain bikes. Nevertheless, M1 doesn't skimp here and instals very good components. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting.
