M1 EN.750.SMag.P/S (ERZBERG) Review

Steep ramps are no problem for the high-torque Brose motor. Additionally, the Brose Drive S Mag stands out with a natural riding feeling and a progressive power delivery. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the EN.750.SMag.P/S (ERZBERG) are no problem.

Even the most treacherous downhill runs are effortlessly handled by the high-end Fox chassis. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Bad brakes reduce the riding pleasure. Fortunately, this is not the case with the EN.750.SMag.P/S (ERZBERG). With their four pistons and large brake rotors the Magura brake brakes good. At the drive components and the remaining parts, M1 uses very good parts. When it comes to the geometry, M1 does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward.
