Mondraker CRAFTY CARBON XR Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX Smart System shows. The Bosch motor climbs steep ramps effortlessly. The very natural riding feeling combines the Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System with a dynamic power delivery. This great combination mixed with lots of power, is something only a few other motors at Bosch's level can achieve. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

The very good chassis with 160 mm travel in the front and 150 mm rear hub also proves to have a lot of resilience even on rougher terrain. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the brakes, Mondraker instals upper class brakes with four pistons and 2 millimeter rotors from SRAM. Taking a holistic approach also includes looking at the gearing and components. The components are of good qualtiy and offer no reason for criticism here. The relatively high reach value in the geometry table is compensated by Mondraker with a relatively short stem. Thus, the long main frame remains maneuverable in the terrain.
