The Neat RR SL is the first light EMTB from Mondraker. In the new development, the Spaniards combine their undisputed expertise in lightweight construction and design. The clean lines and the barely visible motor conceal the fact that this is an e-bike almost perfectly. The development goal of getting the Neat as close as possible to a bike without a motor in terms of looks and handling is clearly achieved. This makes the Neat RR SL a great addition to the Mondraker Crafty, the Spaniards' full-power EMTB.

In steep sections the somewhat low torque TQ motor requires a lot of initiative from the biker. The TQ HPR 50 provides a very natural riding experience. The power delivery is always harmonious. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Mondraker Neat RR SL in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (12000) .

In the Downhill, the bike racks up plenty of points. The fantastic Fox chassis calmly and confidently handles rough terrain. Bad brakes reduce the riding pleasure. Fortunately, this is not the case with the Neat RR SL. With their four pistons and 2 disc brakes the SRAM brake brakes good. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Mondraker leaves almost no wishes open and only uses top-notch parts. In view of the high reach value, it becomes clear: The main frame is long. However, the generous reach is compensated for by a very short stem. This way, Mondraker creates a good weight distribution between the wheels and a balanced handling. The weight of a bike is a key factor for the fun of riding. With 17,9 kg, the Neat RR SL is one of the lightest All Mountains on the market. This turns the bike into a real joyride on the trail. An e-mountain bike is most fun when it can be ridden on a single track like a bike without a motor. The combination of good weight and pleasant geometry give the Neat RR SL the same natural and nimble handling as you know from non-motorised mountain bikes. Really only a few manufacturers manage to get this right.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Mondraker Neat RR SL

With a fantastic handling, a very good chassis and a good brake system, the Neat RR SL is an excellent choice for riders for whom fun starts mainly in the descent. Praise-worthy: 25 years of Warranty on the Frame!
