Moustache Weekend 27 FS Dual Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. Even steepest climbs the Bosch motor easily climbs up well. The Bosch Performance Line CX provides a very well-rounded riding experience with a dynamic power delivery. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Thanks to the excellent range, you should no longer have any range problems.

The Rock Shox chassis provides safety and traction, even when the trail gets rougher. However, it comes to its limit at high speed. The frame on entry-level was stingy with control. Especially for heavy riders, the Moustache brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. On winding trails, the playful handling comes to the fore, as the bike masters even the fastest direction changes with the short wheelbase playfully. Small wheels are becoming rare, but with the Weekend 27 FS Dual the 27.5 wheels pay off with a playful riding experience. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Overall, the geometry does not seem to be up to date anymore. The competition is significantly more modern in this regard.
