Norco 2023 Range VLT A2 Review

As a component giant, Shimano is mostly known for its dominant position in bicycle gears. But with the EP8, the Japanese are clearly showing that they can look beyond their own plate too. Steep ramps are no problem for the Shimano motor. Additionally, the Shimano EP8 stands out with a well-rounded riding feeling and a harmonious power delivery. Thanks to the excellent range, you should no longer have any range problems.

Solid endurance qualities are shown by the chassis of medium quality. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. Especially for heavy riders, the Norco brakes could be a problem. With two pistons they only decelerate averagely. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. At a 63,2° angle flat steer angle and the long reach, one can certainly speak of modern geometry. Overall, the Norco developers have done a great job with a very god geometry.
