The term flow has long been overused. That's why the folks at Norco in Canada probably decided to incorporate the word "Fluid" into the naming of the Fluid VLT C1 14.
The SX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. The Swabians from Bosch are sending their first light engine into the race with the SX. With 55 Nm torque, this unit places exactly in the middle between Fazua's Ride 6 and TQ's HPR 5. However, it delivers up to 6 watts of support, similar performance figures to the popular Bosch CX. The starting behavior remains dynamic. The complete motor control is very $natural. In terms of installation space and sound, the small Bosch can't quite keep up with its competitors from the Light segment. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Fluid VLT C1 140 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (10000) .

The top notch Fox chassis absorbs big hits like Chuck Norris and provides a lot of traction and control. Setup-Nerds can squeeze out the maximum performance from the chassis thanks to the many setting options. At the brakes, Norco instals upper class brakes with four pistons from SRAM. The shifting and the rest of the components are always in the shadow of the engine when it comes to electric mountain bikes. Nevertheless, Norco doesn't skimp here and instals very good components. When it comes to the geometry, Norco does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Too steep and technical uphills are less the comfort zone of the Fluid VLT C1 14. On bikes with a steeper seat angle and longer chainstays, it is much more relaxed to climb in demanding terrain.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Norco Fluid VLT C1 140

Especially when gravity pulls both man and machine down, the Fluid VLT C1 14 really comes to life. With a fantastic handling, a very good chassis and a good brake system, the Norco is a real trail rocket. Praise-worthy: 5 years of Warranty on the Frame!
