Nox HELIUM ENDURO 7.1 COMP Review

At steep sections, the somewhat weak FAZUA motor requires a lot of initiative from the biker. The FAZUA Evation Ride 50 Trail gives off a well-rounded riding feeling. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the HELIUM ENDURO 7.1 COMP , because of its low range.

In the Downhill, the bike racks up plenty of points. The extremely good Fox chassis calmly and confidently handles rough terrain. Setup-Nerds can squeeze out the maximum performance from the chassis thanks to the many setting options. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. Bad brakes reduce the riding pleasure. Fortunately, this is not the case with the HELIUM ENDURO 7.1 COMP. With their four pistons and 2 disc brakes the Magura brake brakes good. Wide tires provide more grip and comfort. Nox tends to fit narrow tires with its #reifen_inch_breite Nox tires. For an Enduro, we would prefer wider treads. The shifting and the rest of the components are always in the shadow of the engine when it comes to electric mountain bikes. Nevertheless, Nox doesn't skimp here and instals very good components. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. An e-mountain bike is most fun when it can be ridden on a single track like a bike without a motor. The combination of good weight and pleasant geometry give the HELIUM ENDURO 7.1 COMP the same natural and nimble handling as you know from non-motorised mountain bikes. Really only a few manufacturers manage to get this right.
