Nox HELIUM ENDURO 7.1 EXPERT Review

At steep sections, the somewhat weak FAZUA motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The FAZUA Evation Ride 50 Trail gives off a well-rounded riding feeling. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the HELIUM ENDURO 7.1 EXPERT , because of its low range.

The good Rock Shox chassis absorbs even larger roots with the calmness of a Buddhist monk. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. Especially for heavy riders, the Nox brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. Wide tires provide more grip and comfort. Nox tends to fit narrow tires with its #reifen_inch_breite Nox tires. For an Enduro, we would prefer wider treads. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. When it comes to the geometry, Nox does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward. Especially going downhill, the good geometry of the HELIUM ENDURO 7.1 EXPERT really shines.
