The good Rock Shox chassis absorbs even larger roots with the calmness of a Buddhist monk. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. The mid-range brakes from Magura do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. Wide tires provide more grip and comfort. Nox tends to fit narrow tires with its #reifen_inch_breite Nox tires. For an Enduro, we would prefer wider treads. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Nox uses good equipment. If the Meta's chainstay length is less than 445 short wheelbase and a moderate reach value make the handling pleasantly playful. Nox is focusing on a wheel mix of 29 inches at the front and small 27.5 inches at the rear. The smaller wheels at the back add extra playfulness to the bike. Furthermore, the bike lies excellent on the trail thanks to its low bottom bracket and thus low centre of gravity. Oh boy, with the geometry you have to be ready to make compromises from our perspective. The most important measurements and angles fall slightly out of the grid of good bikes. We love deep bottom brackets, as long as it's going downhill. Uphill you need to be aware that the crank can sometimes hit the ground.
