Additional struts above the engine and seat tube not only give the WILD FS M-LTD an extravagant look. They should also make the frame stiffer.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. Even steep uphills the Bosch motor easily climbs up well. The Bosch Performance Line CX provides a very well-rounded riding experience with a dynamic power delivery. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

At a glance

The very good chassis with 160 mm travel also proves to have a lot of resilience even on rougher terrain. Setup-Nerds can squeeze out the maximum performance from the chassis thanks to the many setting options. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. When it comes to the brakes, Orbea reaches for the top shelf and instals premium brakes with four pistons and 2 millimeter rotors from Shimano. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Orbea goes all-in and only uses excellent parts. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. The scale stays at 22,4 kg with this model. That makes the WILD FS M-LTD one of the light All Mountains.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Orbea WILD FS M-LTD

Especially when gravity pulls both man and machine down, the WILD FS M-LTD really comes to life. With a very good chassis, a very good brake system and a very good handling, the Orbea is a real trail rocket. Be careful when choosing the size: The Carbon frame sizing runs small. A generous warranty also speaks of sustainable business practices. With 25 years of warranty, Orbea sets the bar high!
