Rockrider E-EXPL 520 S Review

At steep sections, the somewhat weak Brose motor requires a lot of initiative from the biker. The Brose Drive T Alu gives off a natural riding feeling. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the E-EXPL 520 S , because of its low range.

The chassis unfortunately isn't great. Riders might lack comfort on rough terrain. At the brakes, Rockrider reaches for the bottom of the Tektro shelf and instals weak brakes with two pistons. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Rockrider uses average parts. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated.
