Rotwild R.X735 ULTRA Review

Shimano has become the biggest component manufacturer for bicycles thanks to its gear, pedal and brake components. It's clear that the Japanese want to shape the E-Bike trend from this dominant market position. The Shimano motor takes away the fear of even the steepest ramps. The combination of a natural riding feeling and a harmonious power delivery characterises the Shimano EP8. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the R.X735 ULTRA are no problem. Who wants to remove the battery for charging or storing, will be disappointed with the R.X735 ULTRA. The battery is firmly built-in.

Even on rough terrain, the R.X735 ULTRA doesn't lose its composure thanks to the excellent Fox chassis, giving you a lot of control. Later braking is always an option. With Shimano brakes, it's certainly possible, as their four pistons and 2 millimeter rotors make the Shimano brake system decelerate more than outstanding. At the drive components and the remaining parts, Rotwild uses very good parts. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward.
