The TQ HPR 50 is not one of the powerhouses on the market. The somewhat low torque engine could use a bit more support, especially on steep climbs. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly. The integrated battery gives developers constructive freedom when designing the frame. However, to charge it, the bike always has to be brought near an outlet.

The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. The weight of a bike is a key factor for the fun of riding. With 15,5 kg, the Contessa Lumen eRIDE 900 is one of the lightest Trailbikes on the market. This turns the bike into a real joyride on the trail. The low weight combined with the pleasant geometry ensures a very natural and agile handling. With very few other EMTBs, you forget so quickly that you are moving a bike with a motor, as with the Contessa Lumen eRIDE 900.
