Carbon frames are rather the exception in the price range of about 7000€. With the carbon fibre chassis, Scott thus sets clear accents compared to the aluminium competitors. Solid endurance qualities are shown by the chassis of medium quality. At the brakes, Scott middle class four pistons brakes by Shimano are used. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB.
