Scott LUMEN eRIDE 900 Review

In steep sections the somewhat low torque TQ motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The TQ HPR 50 provides a very well-rounded riding experience. The power delivery is always gentle. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the LUMEN eRIDE 900 , because of its low range. The battery is securely attached to the down tube and cannot be removed for charging or storage.

The at the fork qualifies the LUMEN eRIDE 900 for only touring on challenging single trails. In this area of use, the Fox chassis works quite well. Bad brakes reduce the riding pleasure. Fortunately, this is not the case with the LUMEN eRIDE 900. With their four pistons the Shimano brake brakes good. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Scott uses good equipment. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. With its slim weight, the LUMEN eRIDE 900 is one of the lightest EMTBs. Especially going downhill, the good geometry of the LUMEN eRIDE 900 really shines.
