The Lumen eRIDE 910 represents the spearhead of current technical development. The frame is not only particularly light, but also has integrated dampers in the seat tube. The cable routing through the headset makes the look particularly elegant.
The TQ HPR 50 is not one of the powerhouses on the market. The somewhat low torque engine could use a bit more support, especially on steep climbs. The motor control of TQ conveys a very natural riding experience. The harmonious power delivery is an ace up the sleeve of the HPR 50. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly. The integrated battery gives developers constructive freedom when designing the frame. However, to charge it, the bike always has to be brought near an outlet.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Scott Lumen eRIDE 910 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (7000) .

In the about 7000€ price range, most manufacturers use aluminium as the frame material. With a carbon frame, Scott turns the weight screw and sets itself apart from the competitors. The Fox chassis provides safety and traction, even when the trail gets rougher. However, it comes to its limit at high speed. The mid-range brakes from Shimano do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup with small 180 brake rotors is only average. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Scott uses average parts. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. With the weight of 15,5 kg, Scott puts the competition in a state of shock. Indeed, among Trailbikes, it is hard to find a lighter model. The riding pleasure is guaranteed. An e-mountain bike is most fun when it can be ridden on a single track like a bike without a motor. The combination of good weight and pleasant geometry give the Lumen eRIDE 910 the same natural and nimble handling as you know from non-motorised mountain bikes. Really only a few manufacturers manage to get this right.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Scott Lumen eRIDE 910

Friends of gravity should jot down the Lumen eRIDE 910. With an excellent handling, the Scott is a real trail rocket for flowy trails. But an average chassis and a middle ground brake system are of course points of criticism that one should be aware of before purchasing. With a guarantee of 5 years, the warranty is generous.
