Scott Patron eRIDE 900 Ultimate TR Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the CX Race shows. Also gnarly inclines the Bosch motor easily climbs up well. The Bosch CX Race provides a very natural riding experience with a progressive power delivery. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

A good chassis sits in rugged terrain and generates plenty of traction. That's exactly what the good Fox chassis in the Patron eRIDE 900 Ultimate TR hits. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Thanks to the four pistons and large brake rotors, the Shimano brakes decelerate so well that they can be called an anchor. You can't brake any better than that. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar.
