Scott Patron eRIDE 910 TR Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Bosch motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a very natural feeling while riding with a progressive power delivery. The well-tuned riding modes cater to bikers of all preferences. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

Solid endurance qualities are shown by the chassis of medium quality. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Thanks to the solid power, the Shimano brakes can be counted on in the upper class segment. With four pistons and big brake rotors, Scott won't take any chances in that area. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. When it comes to the geometry, Scott does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. With weight, the Patron eRIDE 910 TR is generally one of the heavier e-bikes on the market.
