Scott Strike eRIDE 930 Review

The Strike eRIDE 930 is among the most affordable full-suspension e-mountain bikes in Scott's portfolio. Nevertheless, the developers remain true to their aesthetic design approach on this model as well. The complete chassis can also be locked from the handlebar.
The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. With torque under the motor cover, the support is generous. Nobody needs to fear steep hills anymore. Furthermore, the power of the motor control is regulated so that the start always feels dynamic,. Thanks to the very good range, you should no longer have any range problems even on very long tours.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Scott Strike eRIDE 930 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (5000) .

The chassis unfortunately isn't great. Riders might lack comfort on rough terrain. Especially for heavy riders, the Scott brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. When it comes to the geometry, Scott does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Scott Strike eRIDE 930

The developers of Scott have created a solid all-rounder with the Strike eRIDE 930. Even though the E-Mountainbike reveals a weak flank with a simple chassis and a middle ground brake system, it remains thanks to a very good range, a good motor and a good geometry:Genetiv a widely applicable vehicle. A generous warranty also speaks of sustainable business practices. With 5 years of warranty, Scott sets the bar high!
