Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. Steep ramps are no problem for the Bosch motor. Additionally, the Bosch Performance Line CX stands out with a very well-rounded riding feeling and a dynamic power delivery. Achieving such a perfect balance between natural support and power is something few other engines can do. Fans of XXL tours will be happy with the RAPCON PMAX CX, SHIMANO XT 12 due to ist excellent range.

The Fox chassis provides safety and traction, even when the trail gets rougher. However, it comes to its limit at high speed. As the bumps become faster and harder, the low-quality chassis could limit the descending fun quite early. The mid-range brakes from SRAM do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Simplon uses average parts. In view of the high reach value, it becomes clear: The main frame is long. However, the generous reach is compensated for by a very short stem. This way, Simplon creates a good weight distribution between the wheels and a balanced handling.
