The golden shine Fox chassis can certainly be described as top-notch. With its absorption qualities, it can easily absorb rough shocks in descents and provide calm behind the handlebars. Setup-Nerds can squeeze out the maximum performance from the chassis thanks to the many setting options. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the brakes, Simplon instals upper class brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from SRAM. The shifting and the rest of the components are always in the shadow of the engine when it comes to electric mountain bikes. Nevertheless, Simplon doesn't skimp here and instals very good components. When it comes to the geometry, Simplon does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of Simplon doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here.
