The Austrian company Simplon is known for its configurator, which can be used to customise the equipment. On the Rapcon PMax GX1 Eagle, the shock sits far back and is partially hidden by the split seat tube. This makes for a tidy look.
The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. Steep ramps are no problem for the Bosch motor. Additionally, the Bosch Performance Line CX stands out with a very well-rounded riding feeling and a dynamic power delivery. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the Rapcon PMax GX1 Eagle , because of its low range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Rapcon PMax GX1 Eagle in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (8000) .

The golden shine Fox chassis can certainly be described as top-notch. With its absorption qualities, it can easily absorb rough shocks in descents and provide calm behind the handlebars. Setup-Nerds can squeeze out the maximum performance from the chassis thanks to the many setting options. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the brakes, Simplon instals upper class brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from SRAM. The shifting and the rest of the components are always in the shadow of the engine when it comes to electric mountain bikes. Nevertheless, Simplon doesn't skimp here and instals very good components. When it comes to the geometry, Simplon does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of Simplon doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here.
