Specialized Turbo Levo Comp Alloy Review

Specialized tries the organic lines of the more expensive carbon model to also implement into the Turbo Levo Comp Alloy. However, the aluminium frame does not succeed quite as perfectly as the higher-quality carbon counterpart. Still, the asymmetrical main frame makes for a successful and distinct look. The display integrated into the top tube is well protected during crashes.
Steep ramps are no problem for the high-torque Specialized motor. Additionally, the Specialized 2.2 stands out with a very well-rounded riding feeling and a dynamic power delivery. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Turbo Levo Comp Alloy in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (7000) .

The Fox chassis provides safety and traction, even when the trail gets rougher. However, it comes to its limit at high speed. Thanks to the solid power, the SRAM brakes can be counted on in the upper class segment. With four pistons and big brake rotors, Specialized won't take any chances in that area. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. When it comes to the geometry, Specialized does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. Overall, the Specialized developers have done a great job with a very god geometry.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Specialized Turbo Levo Comp Alloy

The Turbo Levo Comp Alloy is a great climber. With a top-notch geometry and a good motor, long tours in the on insanely technical trails are enjoyable. However, there is also a bitter pill to swallow with a middle ground groupset and an average range. Praise-worthy: 25 years of Warranty on the Frame!
