In contrast to the model from Stevens, which is three times cheaper, the E-Cayolle already has 12 mm of spring travel on board. The frame with the partially integrated battery remains the same.
The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. Even steep uphills the Bosch motor easily climbs up well. The Bosch Performance Line CX provides a very natural riding experience with a dynamic power delivery. Achieving such a perfect balance between natural support and power is something few other engines can do. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the E-Cayolle in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (3000) .

The good SR Suntour fork dampens small and medium bumps confidently when mountain biking. At the brakes, Stevens middle class four pistons brakes by Shimano are used. At the drive components and the remaining parts, Stevens uses very good parts. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. For additional points in downhill handling, the low bottom bracket integrates the rider well into the bike and pulls the centre of gravity down. With its 21,9 kg, the E-Cayolle is one of the lighter E-bikes. The competition is often significantly heavier.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Stevens E-Cayolle

Altogether, a very good groupset and a good motor make the E-Cayolle a very good bike for friends of the uphill flow. It is destined for tours on paved paths and gentle trails. No Yin without Yang. With a moderate range, the E-Cayolle has its weaknesses too. Be careful when choosing the size: The Aluminium frame sizing runs small. With 5 years of warranty, nothing stands in the way of a long-term relationship.
