Stevens E-CAYOLLE GENERATION 1 Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. Steep ramps are no problem for the Bosch motor. Additionally, the Bosch Performance Line CX stands out with a very well-rounded riding feeling and a dynamic power delivery. Achieving such a perfect balance between natural support and power is something few other engines can do. Whoever enjoys longer tours will be pleased with the good range.

The good SR Suntour fork dampens small and medium bumps confidently when mountain biking. The mid-range brakes from Tektro do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Stevens uses good equipment. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The deep bottom bracket also provides excellent cornering and thus contributes to the good handling. Overall, the geometry does not seem to be up to date anymore. The competition is significantly more modern in this regard.
