The striking top tube and integrated battery make it clear that the E-Juke doesn't just want to be perceived as an affordable entry-level bike.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. The very natural motor control and the progressive power output characterise the character of the Bosch motor. Achieving such a perfect balance between natural support and power is something few other engines can do. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the E-Juke are no problem.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Stevens E-Juke in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (4000) .

Good damping qualities are shown through the Rock Shox mid-range fork. The mid-range brakes from Shimano do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The deep bottom bracket also provides excellent cornering and thus contributes to the good handling. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of Stevens doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Stevens E-Juke

Friends of the Uphill Flow should be excited about the E-Juke. Because nominal make it the climbing champion. tours in the on gravel roads and simple forest paths can also be peppered with technical climbs. Be careful when choosing the size: The Aluminium frame sizing runs small. The generous warranty of 5 years proves that Stevens stands behind its products.
