Stevens E-JUKE GENERATION 1 Review

The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Bosch motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a very well-rounded feeling while riding with a progressive power delivery. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

The very good fork brand Federgabel absorbs roots with the calmness of a Buddhist monk. Especially for heavy riders, the Stevens brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. For additional points in downhill handling, the low bottom bracket integrates the rider well into the bike and pulls the centre of gravity down. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of Stevens doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here. The view of the weight of 25,1 kg reveals: There are lighter Tourenbikes.
