Flat steering angle, thick spring elements and a chic look. The Rail 9.9 XTR wants to appeal to trail lovers among e-mountain bikers.
The Performance Line CX Smart System from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. The very natural motor control and the dynamic power output characterise the character of the Bosch motor. This great combination mixed with lots of power, is something only a few other motors at Bosch's level can achieve. Whoever enjoys longer tours will be pleased with the good range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Rail 9.9 XTR in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (12000) .

The very good chassis with 160 mm travel in the front and 150 mm rear hub also proves to have a lot of resilience even on rougher terrain. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the brakes, Trek reaches for the top shelf and instals highend-stopper with four pistons and large brake rotors from Shimano. At the drive components and the remaining parts, Trek uses very good parts. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. Hell yeah, the geometry is killer! Here the know-how of the Trek developers is videly visible.
