Trek brings the High Pivot trend from the downhill scene to eMTBs. The Slash+ 9.9 features a necessary chain idler, giving it a fierce look, but it doesn't forget the practical approach. The battery remains removable just like on the Trek Fuel EXE.
The harmonious power delivery is a clear character of the HPR 5. With 5 Nm torque, the support on the hill is rather moderate. The very well-rounded motor control of the HPR 5 shapes the riding feel of the Slash+ 9.9. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Trek Slash+ 9.9 X0 AXS T-Type in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (12000) .

The high-quality Rock Shox chassis also takes away the fear of rough root sections. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Thanks to the four pistons and 2 disc brakes, the SRAM brakes decelerate so well that they can be called an anchor. You can't brake any better than that. Those who live for premium quality will love the transmission and parts of this EMTB. Here Trek cranks up the bling-bling factor to 11. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. Due to the short chainstays, when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. Overall, the Trek developers have done a great job with a very god geometry. With its 2,88 kg, the Slash+ 9.9 is one of the lighter E-bikes. The competition is often significantly heavier.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Trek Slash+ 9.9 X0 AXS T-Type

If you're looking for a comfortable ride for everyday use, the Slash+ 9.9 isn't for you, because this bike only knows one gear when going downhill - full throttle! With a $brake system_hervorragend brake system, a fantastic groupset and an outstanding geometry, it puts most of the competition when it gets really gnarly in its place.
