The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. Steep ramps are no problem for the Bosch motor. Additionally, the Bosch Performance Line CX stands out with a very natural riding feeling and a progressive power delivery. The well-tuned riding modes cater to bikers of all preferences. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

Rough descents take away some of the fear thanks to the average chassis. If the trail gets rougher however, the comparatively weak chassis can quickly limit the downhill fun. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the brakes, Whyte instals upper class brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from SRAM. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. When it comes to the geometry, Whyte does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting.
