Bulky tubing, maximum riding pleasure? The E-160 RS with #federweg front travel is definitely ready to shred the full load of singletrack.
The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. The very natural motor control and the dynamic power output characterise the character of the Bosch motor. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the E-160 RS in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (8000) .

Rough descents take away some of the fear thanks to the average chassis. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Bad brakes reduce the riding pleasure. Fortunately, this is not the case with the E-160 RS. With their four pistons and large brake rotors the SRAM brake brakes good. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. The head tube angle falls very flat with °. The bottom bracket is also very low. The geometry thus clearly drifts into the extreme. Experienced full-throttle shredders will find this geo the stuff of happiness. Less experienced riders might be better off with a more moderate geometry. Also, weight is an important factor when it comes to EMTB. The E-160 RS isn't exactly shining in this regard. There are lighter All Mountains on the market.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Whyte E-160 RS

There are certainly reasons why one should consider buying this E-MTB. Perhaps one is drawn to its appearance, the brand's image, or having a reliable local dealer. All of these factors can influence the purchasing decision. However, when looking at the hard facts, we must unfortunately say that the E-160 RS doesn't quite meet our taste.
