Despite an aggressive look, the rigid rear end of the E-504 Compact isn´t meant for rough terrain.
The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. Even seemingly hopeless inclines the Bosch motor easily climbs up well. The Bosch Performance Line CX provides a very well-rounded riding experience with a progressive power delivery. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Whyte E-504 Compact Hardtail Electric Mountain Bike in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (6000) .

Suitable descents for a Tourenbike are smoothed out by the very good Rock Shox fork. At the brakes, Whyte middle class four pistons brakes by Tektro are used. A nice touch: The gear and components are on a very good level. The relatively high reach value in the geometry table is compensated by Whyte with a relatively short stem. Thus, the long main frame remains maneuverable in the terrain.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Whyte E-504 Compact Hardtail Electric Mountain Bike

Especially when gravity pulls man and machine downwards, the E-504 Compact really comes alive. With a very good fork and a very good geometry the Whyte is a real trail rocket for flowy trails. When it comes to EMTBs, making a purchase decision is a process of weighing up the pros and cons. With the E-504 Compact, you have to think about whether you can accept a low travel for your own use.
