Wilier 101FX Hybrid SHIMANO XTR 1×12 Review

At steep sections, the somewhat weak FAZUA motor requires a lot of initiative from the biker. The FAZUA Evation Ride 50 Trail gives off a well-rounded riding feeling. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

Rough descents take away some of the fear thanks to the average chassis. Especially for heavy riders, the Wilier brakes could be a problem. With two pistons they only decelerate averagely. The narrow #reifen_inch_breite Vittoria tires do not do this EMTB's range of use any justice. In our opinion, Wilier has saved weight in the wrong place here. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Wilier uses average parts. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. Furthermore, the bike lies excellent on the trail thanks to its low bottom bracket and thus low centre of gravity. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of Wilier doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here.
